SeaGel
Q:I have recently had a problem with velvet and I am treating my aquarium
with copper (cause nothing else seemed to work). On the SeaGel
label it says "removes toxic metals." Does this include copper?
A:
yes, SeaGel will remove copper (as will any chemical filtration
media).
Q:in a catalog from That Fish Placeit states that SeaGel does not remove
trace elements...is that a true statement since i do use your product
and i was unaware that was possible.
A: Carbon (like our Matrix Carbon which
makes up 50% of SeaGel) will not have a major impact on trace minerals.
However, it is likely to remove only an insignificant amount. i.e.
SeaGel will not remove trace elements to any significant degree.
